Q, I do not know how many effects I have to be moved?
A, Please complete the online form as best you can and send it back to us.
Q, But I am not an “estimator” I want some one to come and see me!
A, Yes we will come and see you if required, don’t forget that we have Agents in both the North and South West of England, along with our Head office in Kent, the idea of the “On Line Form” is that we both know what the move entails.
Q, I will pack the non breakables, but want you to pack the rest
A, Yes no problems, we charge £4.00 per carton packed this includes the materials.
Q, Does everything need to be in a box?
A, Obviously not everything fits into a box, all we ask is that you do your best, leave the rest to us
Q, Why do you use so many different vehicles for my move?
A, It is all down to logistics, the prime mover is just far to big to get to most homes
Q, Will my effects get mixed up with other jobs, more chance of damage?
A, We operate a strict Inventory system, you will get a copy of this, all effects are clearly identified with the clients name, we also wrap your effects properly.
Q, I need it picked up on a certain day / time
A, No problems, but we do need as much notice as possible, at least 5 working days!
Q, I am in Mallorca for only a few days, I need the effects delivered at a certain time / date.
A, Fine, As long as it was agreed at the time of the collection
Q, I need my delivery outside normal business hours.
A, Our hours are 0900 to 1830 hrs Monday to Friday, outside these hours we will deliver subject to bribery and corruption!
Q, I want my effects delivered on a Weekend, Fiesta, and Public
A, Working on a Sunday, Fiesta, Public Holidays is not available, Not even for bribes !
A, We can store your effects no problems, you will receive a free storage allowance, please check with us for details
A, We have our own Storage depot, so we can sort something out
Q, The home I am moving to is bad access for a truck, how do you get my effects there?
A, We have a fleet of smaller vehicles based at our Santa Ponsa Depot, No Problems!
Q, But do I have to pay extra for this under your Terms & Conditions?
A, No! We are the Mallorca Specialist, we do allow for these problems.
Q, Why do you not deliver direct to my door with the same vehicle that came from the
A, It is just not practical in most circumstances, the Vehicle from the

Q, But there is room outside my home for a large vehicle
A, There are weight, length and height restrictions in most areas, we have been fined numerous times, so we know it is best not to!
Q, I am moving to an address where there are parking restrictions
A, Central Palma can be a nightmare, likewise so can some towns, for this reason we often have to apply to the Police for a permit to park, these can take three days to organise, there is a charge of 60 Euros minimum for this, the customer has to pay !
We often do try our luck with the Police over parking restrictions; this is fine for smaller jobs where we are only parked for a few minutes, if it is a larger job we will have to get the permissions / permits.
Q, I live in an Apartment and need my Concert Grand Piano to go to the 7th floor and there is no lift!
A, Large, Heavy, Bulky items, No Problems! However we will have to use an external lift / crane and additional staff, this cost extra, budget on 150 Euros per hour for outside lift / crane, there is a min charge of 2 hours for the crane / lift.
Q, But, there is a lift and good stairs, why should I pay extra?
A, In Spain the use of lifts for moving home is not normally allowed by the community manager, it is NORMAL practice for outside lifts to be used, Crews do not carry manageable effects up more than three flights of stairs.

Q, Know a good lawyer?

A, Yes mine, same office as my lawyer, keep everything under one roof
A, We will collect any good cartons that have been flattened down, the waste wrapping etc should be put in the many recycling bins available, Mallorca does operate a very good recycling system
Q, How do I pay for my Move / Storage?
A, Payment is required upon collection unless agreed otherwise with the Company in writing, No effects are released or delivered unless All charges are paid for in cleared funds, You can pay by Credit / Debit Card via the UK Office if required
Q, How do you protect my furniture ?
A, Our Company policy is to Export Wrap everything where possible, that means bubble wrap, protective covers for Soft Furnishings etc,
Q, But does that cost more ?
A, Yes it is, but the additional cost only covers the price of the materials used.
